winter wreaths 2012

Friends are stopping by, family is coming to town–are you looking for a holiday showstopper in your home?  We can help!  This year we’re re-imagining the wreath.

Who says a holiday wreath must hang vertically?  Lay one on its side and the decor possibilities multiply!  The photo above shows a 36-inch birch pinwheel wreath adorned with cedar cuttings.  The center of the wreath supports a plastic tray just larger than the wreath opening; flameless pillars cast an enchanting glow.

The photo below shows an outdoor version of the wreath chandelier: two balsam wreaths lashed together with wire and enhanced with white pine cuttings.  Red satin ribbons add color and unmistakable holiday cheer.

For those looking for a more traditionally-hanging wreath, we’re creating new designs as fast as we can; the inventory changes daily.  Here’s a wreath based on snowy white yarn, accented with gold magnolia leaves, wooden Himalayan roses, red sola flowers, birch twigs, and dark green reindeer moss.

It’s Christmasy enough to announce the holiday, but wintry enough to leave on the door or wall until springs shows through again.  For more wreaths made with sola flowers, look here.

If you’re the type who likes to do your own decorating, we have some beautiful blank canvases too.  We’re bowled over at the beauty of these birch pinwheel wreaths.  Even unadorned they look pretty, but add a little something extra and they can become magnificent.  We have them in 36-inch, 24-inch, and 20-inch sizes.

Mixed noble fir wreaths are always a popular choice.  These are one of the tried-and-true holiday decor items that you can count on us to offer.  The variety of color in the greenery, and the tucked-in pinecones scattered around, give these wreaths a woodsy appeal.  They dress up nicely with ornaments and ribbon.mixed noble fir wreaths And of course the perennially-adaptable grapevine wreath is also making an appearance this holiday.  Almost anything goes with these rustic beauties.  Add a little something or go all out: either way they are tasteful and timeless.
